The Pirates of Penzance Newark Theatre reviews
SIMPLY AMAZING MRAZ!
Last night at Mohegan Sun, The Pirates of Penzance was incredible; he beautifully sings live and genuinely pours his heart and soul into his performance. The Pirates of Penzance played songs from all three of his recent albums (Waiting For My Rocket To Come, Mr. A-Z, and We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things), along with cover songs of Lionel Ritchie's All Night Long and Bob Marley's Three Little Birds. What is also wonderful about the show is that The Pirates of Penzance emphasizes his backup band and aims for the audience to appreciate their music. I have been waiting for over five years to see The Pirates of Penzance live, and this show was absolutely amazing!
